Great Location, 10 minute walk from train station and directly overlooking the lake and mountains. Friendly English speaking staff and luxurious rooms. Pricey but worth it. We upgraded to Lake View and these proved worth the extra expense.

Position by lake, quietness, very nice room, excellent breakfast, cordial staff.
    Negative:
Piano in bar too loud for atmosphere and talking. We love the piano but it was too loud, perhaps an upright piano and no speakers would be better. Shower did not work as it should-it ran hot and cold, needs adjustment.

Beautifully appointed rooms and views of the lake.

No spa. They indicate they have one, but it is only a pool, a tanning bed and one part-time attendant that will give you a massage, when he is not busy. The massage room is like a converted closet. For this grand hotel to call that a spa is completely false advertising. We ended up going to the hotel next door that had a real spa and will probably stay at that hotel next time. Also, the hotel was basically deserted with very few, if any other guests. However, we we asked in advance to have the courtesy vehicle that was constantly parked in front to drop us off at the train station( 5 minute drive at the most), we were told no.
