Positive:
Excellent location, the room was on ground floor, however noise was almost non-existent. Very quiet neighborhood, even if there are quite a few bars and restaurants nearby. Room was actually a 1 room apt, with a small living and a large bedroom. I suspect that the living was originally the kitchen. A kitchenette would have been a big plus, though there are a refrigerator, and a kettle which come in handy for a budget breakfast. Supermarket close. Room was cleaned every day. Tram station close and if Zurich doesn’t have the best public transport, well, I don’t know what city does. Overall a nice stay. A bit pricey, but this is the case in Zurich, and probably all Switzerland. Mind that reception is 10 min walk away. We would definetly return to this hotel.
Positive:
excellent value considering how expensive Zurich is. Everything is automatic, we did not see any staff. Take #3 tram right in front of HB (main train station), and get off at Luttengut (sorry, forgot the exact spelling). It’s 2 min walk when you get off the bus. The place is clean, airy, with nice design. Loved it.
Positive:
Rooms were clean and kept clean during my stay, all furniture was very comfortable. I did not find the keycode system any trouble very easy in fact
Positive:
Design of room and furnishings. Very private and quiet.
Negative:
Too complicated to get key when you are carrying luggage upon arrival. Shower was bizarre and caused flooding of bathroom whenever we used it. Needs higher base or glass enclosure.
Positive:
It has exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, modern and clean. We were also very close to the tram station which giave us easy access to the lake and shopping area.
Positive:
Very modern and comfortable room.
Negative:
No reception at all. Haven’t seen a soul during my stay! When tried to call the reception number I was getting busy tone all the time. I had to call booking.com in the UK to explain me how to get the keys because I checked in around midnight. Also when checking out had to drop the keys in a letter box. But now that I know the “tricks” I would definitely come back as the guesthouse offers excellent value.
Positive:
Just excellent, easy to find, easy to access and very pleasently surprised at the quality of the room, clean, modern and for the price a winner all round
Negative:
Everything eas excellent
Positive:
clean, comfortable, adequately equiped (wireless is essential these days, 10 out of 10 for this)
Negative:
registration is very clumsy. I picked up a key at the main office – and I am glad I did. Otherwise it would have been a pain to get access to the place. Seriosly you should fix this, its not that hard and the only complaint I have about your place – its a great place otherwise! There are a lot of people who don’t understand this unsual check-in process (check out the feedback they gave you – its true!) I tried to help a couple one day who’s code didn’t work. The phone number they had wasn’t answered, so overall their experience was very bad. I think you are loosing business for no reason at all.
Positive:
i like the system that i never seen the staff when i check-in or check-out just by myself, i love it very much!! i am extremely recommend to my friends or other traveller!!!
Negative:
just one thing i dislike but i think must be improve is the instruction of your location, i think you can explain that more detailly!!
Positive:
Free parking place in front of the hotel and free wifi.
Negative:
It is really difficult to find this hotel even with the help of car navigation. 1. the hotel name is different from the one in booking.com 2. the reception of the hotel is in different buliding and far away from the hotel. I called the hotel number and one guy told me a password which can open the mailbox beside the hotel buliding and finally got the key.
Positive:
Great room. I had the top floor room (room #502) and it was great. Nice design (although very IKEA-like) with hardwood floors. Two balconies with view of the hills and roof-tops. Ability to park on-site for free (which is great for Zurich). Near tram stop (#2 and #3), grocery store, pharmacy and a couple of bars/ restaurants.
Negative:
I liked everything, but people need to be mindful that check-in is at another hotel nearby. I had a car, so it wasn’t a big deal, but if you are on foot it might be cumbersome. Hotel staff was nice, but again, it’s not in the same building as you are. It’s really a guest house, as if you’re staying at your friend’s apartment (no lobby, or any other facilities in the building).
Positive:
the room was awesome. all brand new furniture, very clean and crisp and practical.
Negative:
getting there was a nightmare. we had to go to an alternate hotel (which we did not know until we were 100% booked with the hotel) and then walk to our hotel. It took a long walk from the train to get to the first hotel. we checked in and then were given a map that was terribly laid out and we ended up walking double the area. when we finally found the hotel the front door was locked. It took us a few minutes to make out that the sign on the door was trying to tell us to go to the door in the back, very poorly marked. When we got to the back one card didn’t work and one did, thank god, or we would have had to go all the way back to the other hotel! other then getting to the hotel it was great, just be ready for a decent walk if you have a heavy backpack & make sure you understand the instructions/map properly.
Positive:
Spacious rooms (its more like a normal living apartment),very quiet location
Positive:
High quality apartment. The standard of the bathroom, beds, wardrobe and flooring was excellent.
Negative:
The location of this apartment isn’t great and whilst every effort is made t simplify the check-in process it is not easy for the first time user. However, once you are in your room you will be comfortable. Not much choice for eating locally, but Zurich offers more options so not a huge issue. I’m going to mention the lack of heating so it can be fixed for the next traveller.
