Very nice and very stylish. The slimming mirror was hilarious! I felt 20 kilos lighter! Good location, we were in walking distance of a very nice Brasserie.

Our room (123) was rather small and we did not like that there was no privacy in the bathtub. When we return we will ask for a larger room.

Spotlessly clean, nicely designed rooms with beautifullly comfortable beds. Soundproof rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay and wish I had found this hotel before my last week in the Basel area. The continental breakfast is really nice.

My room was a bit on the small side, although ok for a single traveller. Might have been a bit cramped with more people. The restaurant is not yet open, there are some light snacks available, but otherwise you have to eat out, although the staff are very helpful at providing recommendations.

Hopefully the restaurant will open soon. The glass design doors in the bathroom are nice for solo travelers but may be ‘uneasy’ for families with children (not in all rooms).

Cold room I felt a bit like a second class citizen booking off web site. Big mistake will not repeat again. Staff was good and friendly.

While not as nice as in the pictures of booking.com, the room was nicely decorated and reasonably comfortable. The parking, just opposite, was convenient.

When we arrived, we were told that our booking was not registered. After looking in her computer and in several folders, the person at the reception found out that her colleague had registered the booking for a different date. When we finally thought that the misunderstanding was over, she said that the booking had been cancelled. I showed her the printout of the booking confirmation, and she had to look at her folders again to find out that the cancellation she was referring to was not related to this booking. All quite unsettling when one just arrives from a long trip, with a small kid, and no apology was offered. We finally got a room… The room (double room with a sofa bed) was smaller and much darker than the pictures in booking.com in fact it only had a tiny window. Despite of having the heating at the maximum, the room as well as the bathroom were still cold. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable as to be unusable. Fine as a sofa, but just useless as a bed. Our small son had to sleep in our double bed (which was good and large enough). The breakfast was average. Nice cheeses, but fruit salad from a tin, limited bread choice, etc. At departure, they want to charge us for our three year old son as an extra person, when the conditions in booking.com say that small kids do not pay when using existing bedding (this was a double room with an additional sofa bed = 3 beds). I did not let it go, and this was removed from the bill. I cannot comment on the jacuzzi and sauna because we did not use them.

The room was well furnished and comfortable, and the shower room was excellent. There is free WiFi with good connectivity. There is a lift to all floors, although there are four steps to the landing before the lift can be used. The breakfast was adequate, although a hot breakfast would be preferable to the cold selection offered.
Negative:
The restaurant is not yet opened so I had to go outside for a meal. The steps up to the floor from where the lift operates is difficult with luggage.
